- Day one: isolation, drain-down, and demolition. Nothing new goes in until the old is out and the system is verified safe to work on.
- Middle of the window: equipment setting, main runs, and the bulk of connections.
- Late window: tie-ins, insulation, controls integration.
- Final segment: testing, inspection, flush and fill, commissioning support, and documented turnover.

- Long-lead items identified, released, and confirmed with delivery dates
- Material and testing documentation requirements clarified up front, so you are not chasing paperwork at turnover
- Inspection scheduling coordinated with the authority having jurisdiction well ahead of the window
- Testing and inspection sequence agreed with the owner, since it dictates when systems can be closed and insulated

Tie-Ins Are Where Schedules Die
The new work is predictable. Connecting it to a live plant is not.
